Cyberpower Gamer Dragon Desktop PC Review

!±8± Cyberpower Gamer Dragon Desktop PC Review

The Cyberpower Gamer Dragon desktop computer is an entry leveling PC, but with a great cost that doesn't cut any corners. This PC has been given numerous awards praising its power for price, and even has been proven to out perform other PCs that would cost you almost twice the price.

Specifications:
- AMD Phenom II X6
- 4GB RAM
- 1TB HD
- Blue-Ray DVD-RW
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 460

As far as the design goes, the chassis is pretty standard for custom built PCs nowadays - It has a large window view on the side and some neat LEDs in the lower front. Other than that, the case is nothing too fancy. However, the case is very roomy with space for up to 6 hard drives.

Now, for the performance notes - The Gamer Dragon comes with 650w power supply, which is more than the system requires, leaving room for additions such as a second video card. The processor is a beastly AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (6 cores). It comes with 4GB of memory, which is very standard and adequate these days. You won't get much use out of too much more than that unless you're running a serious multitude of memory intense programs. The hard drives holds 1TB, which is far more than I would know what to do with as an individual user. And the DVD-RW drive is Blue-Ray ready, which is great since it's becoming more and more popular these days and could save you some cash from having to purchase a separate Blue-Ray DVD player if you do most of your movie watching from your computer room. And finally, powering the video is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 - A very solid mid-range card that will run any of the latest computer games with solid settings at a decent resolution. Don't forget, there is always room to add another if you want some extra performance or a second monitor.

The Cyberpower Gamer Dragon is a fantastic PC that gives you everything you need to start as a PC enthusiast, with a lot of room for additions, overclocking, etc. With a very affordable price hovering around 00, this desktop is definitely something you should check into.
